D1 Teachers revisit “Growth Mindsets” using the lens of the “Educator’s Mindset” and how it affects

Teachers built a neural network using string, dental floss and twine. They plan to use this lesson with their students to teach them how the brain grows as they learn and practice. At the end of the training, teachers made a commitment to promote the Growth Mindset through their actions and words while working with our students. According to research by Brooks and Goldstein in 2008, teachers that believe in the potential of their students and promote their beliefs through actions and words, help students develop perseverance.
