Palmcroft iTEAM was involved in setting up an Apple TV system in the new iTEAM/Speech room 313. Fourth grade STLs Isa and Xavier (both 2nd year STLs) set up the Apple TV system for the first time and did an amazing job. The Apple TV will be used by the speech teacher and iTEAM Student Technology Leaders.
Veteran iTEAM STLs take over and teach the new STLs how to work on a TAP. The students went over the process step-by-step and guided our new students on successfully completing a tap. The students asked and answered questions and worked as a great team. These Desert Mesa students are off to a fantastic year!
Sunrise iTEAM KiDS explored the FabMakerStudio website today for the first time. They designed the shapes in the program and used the FabMakerStudio cutter to cut out their creations. They are already asking when they can create and use the cutter again! Great job Sunrise iTEAM KIDS!!
iTEAM KiDS and i-Instructors spent their time Saturday morning at the District ONE Re-Boot Training!. Participants were involved in hands-on tech activities to help build their technology skills, so they will be able to assist teachers and students in classrooms with the use of technology. Students will continue to develop leadership skills by participating in hands-on activities at school sites throughout the year.
Woodard Junior High School students rocking at the 2017 Re-Boot! These students gave up their Saturday morning to attend a mini boot camp on the important role Student Technology Leaders (STL) have at each campus. Moreover, students learned the value of correctly filling out a Technology Assisted Project (TAP). Great Day Woodard iTEAM KiDS!!
