The iTEAM KiDS at McGraw Elementary School hosted an open house for parents to share the fun! Parents and students were so engaged with building the robots that they did not want to leave when the bell rang!
Woodard iTEAM KiDS presented on February 17th for the District Wide Professional Development Day for District ONE teachers. The iTEAM team demonstrated Pages, a powerful word processing app that was designed by Apple for iPads. Students shared tips and tricks and assisted teachers as they explored the app.
iTEAM KiDS at Otondo Elementary School are learning to use the Active Inspire Software used by teachers to build interactive flip charts. Flip charts are used on a Promethean board and foster student interaction during lessons. This training will allows iKiDS to support teachers in the classroom and troubleshoot any issues "on the go".
Kaitlyn I am a fifth grader at Palmcroft Elementary school and I'm in iTEAM KiDS. iTEAM is a student technology program that I love. The program has taught me so much that I didn't even know that was possible in technology. iTEAM has changed me, whenever someone needs help with technology I am always there. I very glad to be in iTEAM, and very glad to have a wonderful iTEAM teacher.
Layla I am a 4th grader and this was my first year with Carver’s iTEAM KIDS. I am most excited about the chance to learn about technology and to share that knowledge. iTEAM KIDS has encouraged me to be a better student, allowing me to participate in the trouble shooting of technology in other classrooms.
Ethan iTEAM KiDS is fun and a good opportunity to learn technology. The scariest part was the first time I participated in PD Day last year. This year, PD Day was lots of fun. I love helping other kids and my teacher who need help with their iPad.
